Who am I? 

Well, I'm Jade. 

I form one third of the Sandhu-Cobden's, my partner Andy forms another and Isobel is the final and possibly most important piece of our little family puzzle. 

You'll no doubt see a lot of Isobel here. She is my amazingly bonkers two year old daughter and she literally blows my mind. Watching her grow and develop every day is the most astounding thing I have ever and will ever be lucky enough to witness. 

I currently work part-time in an office and I volunteer one day a week in the local Primary school. I also study from home with the Open University and am two years into the long journey to becoming a teacher. 

I love to craft and experience an unnatural happiness when using washi tape. I also love to cook and bake, but really don't do it enough. 

I really don't do enough of many of the things I love, which brings me on quite nicely to the next part ...

Why am I here?

Simply and purely I am here to pursue the things that make me happy. 

Things that fulfil my life and open it up to new things. 

Fun things. Pretty things. Self-affirming things. Things that make me smile inside and out. 

Things that make me a better person, that bring my family together and allow me to create the best life I can for us all. 

Oh, and (possibly most importantly of all) things that involve cake. Cake makes me very happy.

This blog is my excuse to go out an grab new experiences by the (*ahem*) pom-poms and take time to make the most of the what's and the who's that I'm blessed enough to have.
